Today we presented our re-positioning projects. We reviewed chapter 1 and watched an episode of shark tank.
We complete a worksheet on the economic utilities and it is #5 in your notebook. You will have to get the worksheet from me.. Bell ringer •Yesterday in the video it discussed the importance of adding value to products. There are 5 ways that marketers can add value (utility) to products: Form, Place, Time, Possession, and Information Utility. Read page 9 and 10 and explain each type of utility and give one example. Your example may not be the example that is given in the book. Think of your own examples. Put your answers into a chart Assignment #4 in Notebook •On page 424, Explain (not just list) the five principles that should be followed in developing print advertising. Put your answers into a chart. Assignment that we presented in class is found below.. You will need to complete and submit to the box.

Please look at the bell ringer file below to get today's bell ringer. We also took a quiz on Goods and Services. You will need to make up that assignment if you were absent today. See me during class to schedule a time. We then watched a video that explained concepts and gave us a glimpse into the world of marketing. Students then completed their first marketing challenge.
